We appreciate you!

We strongly believe educating students is a hand-in-hand journey with parents. Parent involvement is crucial to individual students' success as well as the success of our entire school.  We encourage you to take a look below at the various opportunities for parent involvement.

Safe Environment Training

All parents, grandparents, friends, and family must complete Safe Environment Training and background check prior to volunteering at school events where students are present.  We highly recommend all parents take this course right as your child becomes a student at our school so you are ready to volunteer as soon as opportunities come up.

The first time you complete the Safe Environment Training session, you will complete it in person.  The course is valid for 5 years and renewals can be completed online.  To register for a training session, please create a Virtus Account.  Once the training is complete, please submit a background check form to the school office.

Defensive Driving

All volunteers that will be driving students to and from field trips, service trips, or retreats, must complete safe driver courses.  Please refer to the Volunteer Driving document for steps to complete the driving courses.  Once the courses are complete, please stop by the office to sign the volunteer driving permission slip packet and to drop-off a copy of your driver's license and insurance policy

Classroom Assistance

Parents are encouraged to be involved in their student's academic career at our school.  We love when parents are able to get involved in classroom projects, reading groups, or even class parties.  Please reach out to your student's teacher for classroom assistance opportunities.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The PTO provides support to the students, faculty, staff, and families of the Shrine of St. Anne through fundraising efforts, hospitality, outreach, and monetary support. Our goal is for our members of the community to feel supported and to have fun throughout the school year!

The PTO is in charge of several events and fundraising efforts throughout the year including: class parties, home room parents, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Dodgeball/Kickball, Teacher Appreciation Week, 8th grade graduation, Donuts with Grandparents Day, hospitality and support for families, the buddy family program, the Christmas Purse program, Spirit Store, and teacher luncheons and celebrations.

Support our school year round by shopping our fundraising affiliates!  Please see the document below for a list of companies our school has teamed up with.  When you shop our fundraisers, a percentage of your purchases is returned to our school.

Booster Club

Traditionally, the SA Booster Club has supported our student athletes and their families by covering the cost of uniforms, sporting equipment, gym maintenance and improvements, registration fees, championship banners, summer sport camps, etc. They host events such as game spirit nights, the Back-to-School BBQ, and the annual school sports assembly.

In recent years, they have also led the fundraising campaign for our school building’s physical renovations, in addition to supporting the sports program. Their biggest fundraiser of the year is the Crystal Ball which includes a silent and live auction, open bar, dancing, and always a good time! These guys know how to bring the party and fun to every event!

RACE for Education

The Race for Education has been a long-time event at St. Anne’s and primarily fundraises to “close the gap”. Each year there is a significant difference in the actual cost the school incurs to educate each child vs. the amount of tuition charged. The annual goal of the Race for Education is to have 100% family participation. Meaning, each family is asked to participate through donation or by providing names of individuals or companies that the school can seek donations and sponsorships from. Race day itself is so much fun and the whole family is encouraged to come out and cheer on the student runners!
