Application for admission to Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School indicates a willingness to be committed to the first priority of our school – being a Christian community witnessing to the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.
This commitment calls for active involvement in and support of both one’s church community and the school community. This active involvement and support at both the church level and the school level is an expectation of all who request school enrollment for their children.
The first priority of our school is to provide a Catholic education for Catholic families who are registered and actively involved in the life of their parish. “ACTIVE” involvement means REGULAR attendance at Sunday Mass, REGULAR financial contributions to the parish using the parish envelopes, and involvement in the various ministries of the parish. Because of this priority, a reduction in tuition is available for the families who fit this criterion.
If the above criterion is met, a Parish Affiliation Form must be taken to your parish (including the Shrine of St. Anne) and must be signed by the pastor or his representative. Attach the signed Parish Verification form to your completed application.
- Families who belong to the Shrine of St. Anne Parish should complete the Parish Affiliation Form.
- Catholic families who belong to another parish need to complete an Out-of-Parish Affiliation Form.
Fully Affiliated
The first priority of any Catholic school is to serve the Catholic families registered and actively involved in their parish life. The Shrine of St. Anne School serves several parishes, including those without a school. In any case, a parish affiliation form must be signed by the Pastor or his representative and submitted with the application in order to receive the Affiliated Tuition Rate. Moreover, only fully affiliated families are eligible for any further consideration of tuition assistance. See further details under “Financial Assistance.”
Non-Affiliated
The second level of tuition rates is known as Non-Affiliated, and this applies to families who do not qualify for regular Parish membership, non-Catholics, and families who have just relocated to the Archdiocese of Denver. A minimum of six months of affiliation (registration) with an Archdiocese of Denver Parish is required to receive Parish Affiliation.
